In Cuba, the regime insists on denying the existence of political prisoners, but the reality is very different. Over the years, many brave Cubans have been imprisoned simply for expressing their ideas, defending their rights, or demanding freedom for the

people. These political prisoners are living witnesses of the repression by a system that silences those who dare to dissent. Despite the oppression, more Cubans lose their fear every day and join the fight for a free Cuba.

Brave men and women are raising their voices, demanding change, knowing that the price of their resistance might be imprisonment. But that doesn’t stop them. The cause of freedom in Cuba is growing stronger, fueled by the desire to live in a country where human rights are

respected, where there are no reprisals for thinking differently.

Today, more than ever, there is a wave of Cubans ready to fight for democracy, for a Cuba where every citizen can express themselves freely without fear of being

imprisoned. The cause of political prisoners is the cause of all Cubans who desire a future of justice and freedom.
