The Project “Un Grito de Libertad”
"Un Grito de Libertad" is an audiovisual protest project produced by Solidarity Action, Democracy & Freedom Corp., a non-profit organization based in exile in Miami, Florida. The productions of this project are a tribute to the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for Cuba’s freedom. Through documentaries like "Gritos de Libertad", the organization gives voice to those who have stood against the Cuban regime since 1959. This project not only documents the history of brave individuals who have faced political imprisonment but also honors those who continue to fight today for a free Cuba.

Who is the founder of this project?
Carlos Gavilondo, creator of the project "Gritos de Libertad," graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte in Cuba with a degree in Audiovisual Communication Media, specializing in Film, Radio, and Television Editing.

He completed his Master's degree in Communication Sciences, with a focus on Journalism, at the Faculty of Communication at the University of Havana.

He holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Educational Leadership from Keiser University, USA. He is the President of UniMedia Group CG, a company based in Miami, FL, USA, recognized for audiovisual production and academic consulting, and president of Solidarity Action, Democracy and Freedom, Corp.

He is a member of the American Society of Leadership and Success and the Editorial Board of the U.S. Scientific Research Group.
He has 26 publications in Indexed Scientific Journals and one book published by the Spanish Academic Publishing House.

His research interests include communication and society, education, educational leadership, media, teaching and learning processes, and information and communication technology.
